The Brownsville Public Utilities Board (BPUB) is a municipally owned utility established in 1960 that provides electrical, water, and wastewater services to approximately 47,000 customers in the Brownsville, Texas area. BPUB serves industrial, commercial, and residential customers both within and outside the city's corporate boundaries, including the Port of Brownsville and its industries.
