Ultrapure Water (UPW) and Industrial Wastewater (IWT) Critical Work Technician
Job Description
Guided by a belief in extensive data analysis and a commitment to collaborative global relationships, the Ultra-Pure Water (UPW) and Industrial Wastewater (IWT) team is responsible for providing continuous, safe, and high-quality utilities to our Fab. At our water and wastewater plants on the Samsung Taylor Semiconductor campus, our Operations team’s drive for sustainability and operational excellence is balanced by our need to adopt tomorrow’s technologies to ensure plant resilience, environmental stewardship, and the safety of our staff.

Physical Demands
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Employees assigned to a 1st Shift work a 9-hour shift, 5 days a week, Monday-Friday. The 1st Shift position begins at 7:00am and ends at 4:00pm each scheduled day.
Travel
No overnight travel is expected for this position. Some occasional local day travel may be necessary.

ComputerâBased Work & Technical Proficiency
- The role involves extensive use of computers for data entry, documentation, analysis, and internal communication.
Candidates must be comfortable and proficient in the full suite of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, OneNote, etc.) and able to learn new office applications quickly.
- Familiarity with enterprise CMMS (ComputerâAided Maintenance Management System) software and Confluence is required for daily task management, issue tracking, and collaboration.
