TalentLogistix is immediately hiring a Wastewater Specialist for a direct hire opportunity with a leading Food & Beverage distributor in the Paw Paw, MI area.
Pay Rate: $30-35/hr (depending on experience)
Location: Paw Paw, MI
Work Schedule: Wednesday - Saturday 7pm-7am (Wednesday is a half day)
Job Scope:
* Operate wastewater treatment and associated equipment
* Manage wastewater operations in an environmentally responsible manner
* Resolve minor equipment technical issues
* Monitor storm water basins and outside storage areas
* Maintain equipment and area cleanliness to ensure compliance with all GMP standards.
* Perform preventative maintenance duties
* Maintain accurate records and logs
* Conduct wastewater sampling and analyses
* Generate work orders
* Troubleshoot and correct problems during equipment operation.

Qualifications/Requirements:
* High School diploma or GED required.
* 1 year recent wastewater experience.
* Prior production / manufacturing experience preferred.
* Anaerobic and Aerobic experience preferred.
* Ability to pay attention to detail.
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
* Ability to read and understand equipment operations manuals, basic electrical and mechanical drawings, and to perform minor maintenance tasks (after training) as related to wastewater equipment.
