We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with experience in water and wastewater systems to support complex infrastructure and utility projects. This role will focus on the design, review, and delivery of mechanical systems including pumps, piping, valves, filtration systems, and treatment equipment.
The engineer will work on projects from design through commissioning and will collaborate with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure projects meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and support water/wastewater mechanical systems
Develop and review technical documents, calculations, layouts, and equipment specifications
Support installation, commissioning, and project handover activities
Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal engineering teams
Perform technical reviews and help resolve engineering issues
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership when needed
Qualifications:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Experience in water, wastewater, utilities, or process industries
Strong knowledge of pumps, hydraulics, piping systems, and treatment processes
Experience supporting projects in regulated or safety-critical environments
Familiarity with design tools such as AutoCAD, BIM, or 3D modeling is a plus
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
This role may involve occasional travel and site support in industrial or manufacturing environments.
