Position Summary
The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing heavy construction projects focused on water and wastewater treatment facilities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing complex treatment plant builds, including concrete structures, process piping, mechanical systems, and coordination with municipal owners and engineers.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all phases of water and wastewater treatment plant construction projects, including planning, scheduling, procurement, and execution.

Lead project teams including superintendents, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.

Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts.

Coordinate closely with municipal owners, engineers, and regulatory agencies.

Oversee construction of process structures, pump stations, tanks, piping systems, and related infrastructure.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental requirements.

Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining project timelines and profitability.

Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, change orders, and submittals.

Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).

8+ years of experience managing heavy civil or infrastructure projects.

Demonstrated experience in Water and Wastewater Treatment Facility Construction.

Strong knowledge of concrete structures, mechanical/process systems, and underground utilities.

Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and multi-disciplinary teams.

Experience working with municipal clients and consulting engineers.

Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Proficiency in construction management software and scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, Procore).

Preferred Qualifications

Professional Engineer (PE) license or CCM certification.

Experience with design-build or CMAR project delivery methods.

Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to water/wastewater facilities.
