The following typical tasks and responsibilities are representative of this class. They are descriptive, not limiting. Essential Duties: Leads, plans, trains, prioritizes, organizes, assigns, and participates in the work of staff responsible for the installation, repair, maintenance and operation of electrical, electronic, control instrumentation systems and devices including VFDs, electrical motors, power circuits, control circuits, computer systems including PLC, SCADA, radio, and communication equipment, co-generation facilities, systems and equipment; Coordinates repair and maintenance work with plant operators and outside agency technical personnel.

EXAMINATION: ORAL APPRAISAL INTERVIEW (WEIGHTED: 100%)
The method of examination may include one or more of the following: written exam; oral exam; evaluation of education, training, experience or other qualifications as shown by the application, or by other information submitted, or by the record; questionnaires submitted to references; or any other appropriate measure of fitness. A minimum passing score of 70% is required.
