Water/Wastewater Engineer
Pay: $37-55/hr. (depending on experience level)
Eligible for a $3,000 signing bonus
Description:
- We are seeking a passionate Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our team in York, PA. The Wastewater Engineer will design and develop crucial water infrastructure projects – from treatment plants to distribution systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field
- Principles and Practice of Engineering (PE) a plus, but not required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in environmental engineering, specifically water & wastewater projects
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Deadline-driven and self-starting
Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed engineering reports, including system design, cost estimates, and project timelines
- Plan, permit, and design water and wastewater projects, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards
- Conduct site visits to assess community water and wastewater needs
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate project schedules and deliverables
- Collaborate with clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards
