Summary

The Great Lakes Water Authority is looking for a Professional Administrative Analyst to provide and support the Wastewater Maintenance Group. We are looking for a team-oriented, innovative, hardworking individual to provide a full range of administrative support to the Director of Maintenance and the Water Resource Recovery Facility. In this role, you will provide a broad range of highly skilled and confidential administrative support to the Director and maintain strong interpersonal relationships with employees at all levels of the organization. Job Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the Director of RME and leadership team, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed reports, presentations, and dashboards using tools such as PowerBI, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint to communicate project progress and team accomplishments.
  • Track and manage headcount, action items, onboarding processes, and operational schedules using Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
  • Serve as a liaison between the RME team and internal departments such as Human Resources, Finance, and Operations to ensure timely and accurate communication.
  • Coordinate external stakeholder engagements, including badge access and meeting logistics.
  • Maintain and update administrative trackers and documentation to support strategic planning and operational efficiency.
  • Assist in the execution of specialized technical assignments and ensure compliance with organizational procedures and safety protocols.
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration across teams.
  • Uphold a high standard of professionalism, confidentiality, and reliability in all aspects of the role.

Required Education and Experience

At the time of application:

  • Bachelor’s degree: with specialization in Business Administration preferred
  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience related to the field and/or job assignment
  • Education requirement can be substituted with extensive experience, at the discretion of the Chief Executive Officer or designee

Preferred items:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Experience with PowerBI, Smartsheet, and Excel pivot tables.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
